Hello! My name is Melanie Lespoir-Easton, and I am a passionate mathematics educator with more than 22 years of teaching experience. I taught Mathematics in Grades 7 through 11 in Guyana, South America, for 20 years, where I had the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and help them develop strong mathematical foundations and critical-thinking skills. For the past two years, I have taught 5th Grade Mathematics in the United States, continuing my commitment to supporting student success and fostering a love of learning.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been dedicated to creating positive, engaging learning environments where students feel supported and challenged. My experiences teaching in two different countries have provided me with valuable perspectives on education, curriculum, and the diverse needs of learners. These experiences have strengthened my belief that every student can succeed when given the appropriate tools encouragement.
